Mark Good
Mark is a nationally recognized diversity specialist and educational consultant who specializes in diversity awareness, cultural competency and social justice training. Additionally, Mark is an adjunct professor in the Counseling & Educational Psychology Department at West Chester University. He has fifteen years experience working within the corporate sector and as a public school educator at the elementary, middle and high school levels. Mark is the creator, facilitator and co-facilitator of several innovative trainings, workshops and programs offered throughout the United States. All that Mark produces is specifically designed to support members of the educational, business, and non-profit sectors to attain a genuine comprehension of the immense personal value of diversity awareness, cultural competency and social justice skills for each of us within our professional and personal lives. Frequently, educational systems, businesses and other organizations call upon Mark to motivate students, faculty, staff, administration and management to advance an initiative that will encourage all to support an inclusive and welcoming organizational climate. Justin Sitron
Currently a doctoral candidate in the Human Sexuality program at Widener University, Justin has been a public school teacher for middle and high school students and an educator at the graduate level during the last two decades. Employed by the University of Pennsylvania, Justin is the Intervention and Training Specialist at the Center for Health Behavior and Communication Research in the Annenberg Public Policy Center. He has served as vice president for the board of directors of two non-profit organizations; one that provides safety and support for gay and straight youth, their family and friends and the other works in international peace education and cross-cultural understanding. His extensive knowledge of sexuality as a topic, experience with diverse populations and their unique needs, and his merit as an instructor make his courses dynamic experiences for the participants. His philosophy of education is one that promotes learning through active training techniques - cutting edge learning experiences that motivate and engage learners.
Thom Stecher
Thom Stecher is a nationally recognized motivational speaker and educational consultant. He specializes in self-esteem, wellness, and student assistance programs. Raised in a family of educators, Thom believes that education is a life long process and that we all teach best what we most need to learn. It is therefore imperative that we teach each other.
Thom is one of the original developers of the nationally acclaimed Pennsylvania Student Assistance Program. The Pennsylvania model has received recognition by both the National Governors Conference as well as the American Medical Association. He has expanded the model to developmentally appropriate programs at the elementary, middle and high school level.
Thom's work in Student Assistance finds him in training and development of school based prevention and intervention services for "at risk youth" in over 30 states nationwide, Canada, Germany, and Great Britain.
More personally Thom is the father of three special needs students. Their various labels are gifted, severely profoundly retarded and learning disabled. In meeting the challenges of his children's health and education Thom has found his philosophical perspective of a glass half full, his purpose for service, his belief in limitless possibilities and his passion for creativity and growth.
Thom considers his children his greatest teachers. The lessons he brings are full of enthusiasm, creativity, compassion, generosity, gratitude, hard work and play. Thom is a much sought after speaker who inspires, motivates and creates an atmosphere of respect and healing. He is also the author of many self help, educational and inspirational selections. Thom brings out the very best in people because of the positive energy he exudes. Thom looks at every human encounter as an opportunity to learn from one another.
Lori Zatz
Lori is a rebirther, Loving Relationships Training ® (LRT) Trainer, a Psychotherapist and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has been facilitating people in their personal growth process for 10 years, and assisting people as a professional rebirther for 7 years. She studied rebirthing under the guidance of Tony Lo Mastro, Maureen Malone and Sondra Ray, and is certified by the New York and Philadelphia Rebirthing Centers.
Her counseling work includes an eclectic mix of traditional psychology and psychoanalysis along with cognitive therapy, behavioral management, relationships and marriage counseling, bereavement, crisis intervention and life coaching.
Lori earned her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and an English degree from Syracuse University. Her love of working with people and groups began while working as a Naturalist for the National Park Service and an instructor at wilderness therapy programs in the Western United States. Combining over 10 years of wilderness experience with her professional training, she helps people to achieve their individual goals in unique, supportive and effective ways.
Currently Lori works in Philadelphia, with individuals, families and couples. Additionally she facilitates a variety of workshops on relationships as well as self care and stress reduction.
